Instrumental Tuition
Students at Huntington School have the opportunity to take up or continue instrumental tuition each year.
We have a number of visiting instrumental and vocal tutors who offer lessons at Huntington School.
These instrumental teachers operate as independent tutors using the music department as a base. Parents deal directly with instrumental teachers, but details of the lessons they offer and application forms can be found below.

Help with the cost of lessons
Students who qualify for free school meals, are looked after children or are on the school’s SEND register can apply to the City of York Council’s Arts Education Service for an annual bursary of up to £200 towards the cost of lessons with a City of York Council approved instrumental tutor.
