Teacher of PE (Maternity Cover Part Time)
PART TIME (0.4 – 0.5FTE)
TEMPORARY MATERNITY COVER
MPR/UPR (suitable for ECT’s)
We are looking for an energetic and passionate teacher to join our PE Department on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave from February 2025.
You would be expected to teach PE to KS3 and KS4 and as such previous experience of teaching GCSE PE is essential.
Huntington is an 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school with a Sixth Form taking our total student numbers to approximately 1516, which includes over 300 students in the Sixth Form. Our students achieve excellent results, year-in, year-out, both at GCSE and A-level.
Our recent Ofsted Inspection recognised that ‘Sports and performances are part of the DNA of the school’. We have an exceptional extra-curricular offer that is diverse and inclusive to all and as such this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to develop their existing skills.
