Aspirations Careers Department
Welcome to the Huntington School Aspirations (Careers) Department Page. On this page, and those linked to it, you will find a range of information to support your child on their journey through Huntington School and off into the wider world of work, education and training.
At Huntington, we are committed to providing the best possible careers support for our students, families and staff. As part of this commitment, we are currently undertaking the Quality in Careers Standard, which is the national quality award for careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) in secondary schools.
We have now completed the first stage of this assessment (intent) showing that we have everything in place to complete the standard. We will be submitting further evidence over the next several months and aim to be fully accredited in the near future. Below is a certificate confirming our intent certification:
An overview of our curriculum and general provision is below (including our student entitlement). The student entitlement is a more simplified, student-facing, summary of the more detailed Careers Provision Overview.
Should you have any questions, feedback or suggestions relating to the document below or anything else on this website, please do not hesitate to contact our Aspirations Teaching and Learning Manager, Mr Daniel at s.daniel@huntington-ed.org.uk

Huntington 2022 Aspirations Fair (Remote Version)
Couldn't make the 2022 Aspirations fair? Or did but would like to re-visit it? No problems! For all those visitors who attended the 2021 and 2022 fairs (and gave us permission), we recorded these guests giving shot interviews about their industry or organisation. You can view the videos below! We would encourage staff, students, parents, carers and employers to view these!

Huntington School Alumni in Careers
As you will see from our overview and our Aspirations Fair, we love to engage with employers when planning and delivering our CEIAG. We are also keen to involve Huntington School Alumni as much as possible in careers' activities, so our current students can be inspired by past generations. If you are a Huntington Alumni and would like to get more involved, please add yourself to our Alumni network here Huntington School - Alumni or contact s.daniel@huntington-ed.org.uk to find out more about how you can be involved.
