Directors welcome
As an Outstanding comprehensive Sixth Form, our core purpose is to ensure that all post 16 students have access to an inclusive learning experience that allows individuals to learn and succeed. Students and staff at Huntington School have a proven track record of working hard together to achieve great academic success and personal development.
Huntington Sixth Form is a vibrant and diverse community of valued individuals. We take pride in being an integral part of the success of the main school at Huntington whilst developing a unique Sixth Form experience based on high expectations and high quality support. Our wider curriculum and personal development program offers significant leadership opportunities, extracurricular activities including trips and visits and a programme of external speakers.
We have a large and very experienced team whose role is to support our students through their sixth form journey, ensuring we are able to offer specialist academic guidance alongside bespoke careers advice from our Aspirations team. We offer outstanding teaching and learning experiences alongside specialist pastoral care delivered by our dedicated team that includes a non-teaching Student Support Leader.
It is a combination of academic rigour, enrichment opportunities and a sense of community that makes Huntington Sixth Form an outstanding environment in which to work hard and grow as an individual. We are happy to welcome students from across the City of York and beyond every year alongside students from Huntington school.
If you are interested in joining our Sixth Form community or would like further information, then please contact the school.
