In this option you will be working as part of a team to launch and run a small business. Your team will be structured as a real company would be, so you may get the chance to work as the marketing manager, the human resources manager or even the managing director.
An important element of 'Young Enterprise' this year will be your contribution to the community and your business must therefore be run using ethical guidelines which you will draw up at the start of the year. The profits you earn from the business will be divided between yourselves and a charity of your choice which you will nominate in your initial meeting.
In order to plan, launch and run this successful business 'Young Enterprise' will run as a 2-term programme. During this time you will be surprised at how rapidly your team working, organisational, planning and creative thinking skills develop. Every Wednesday afternoon you will hold a properly planned and minuted meeting to help shape the future direction of your business.
